NPL 2026 Schedule Announced: Full Nepal Premier League Season 3 Fixtures

The Cricket Association of Nepal (CAN) has officially released the match schedule for the third season of the Nepal Premier League (NPL). The tournament will run from October 26 to November 21, 2026.

Defending champions Lumbini Lions will face Sudurpaschim Royals in the opening match on October 26. The fixture is a rematch of the NPL 2025 final, where Lumbini defeated Sudurpaschim to lift the Season 2 title.

Eight franchises will compete during NPL Season 3, with the league stage followed by Qualifier 1, Eliminator, Qualifier 2 and the Final.

The league stage will run from October 26 to November 15. The complete Season 3 fixture includes single-match days as well as double-headers.

On regular match days, matches are scheduled to begin at 4:30 PM NPT. On double-header days, the first match will begin at 12:30 PM and the second at 4:30 PM.

NPL 2026 will begin with a major rematch as Lumbini Lions take on Sudurpaschim Royals on October 26.

Lumbini enter Season 3 as the defending champions after winning the 2025 title, while Sudurpaschim have reached the final in each of the first two NPL seasons.

NetTV holds the worldwide OTT rights for NPL Season 3, while Himalaya Television Network holds the linear television broadcast rights in Nepal.

Fans will therefore be able to follow NPL 2026 online through NetTV, with television coverage available through the official Nepal broadcast partner.

The NPL Season 3 final will be played on November 21, 2026. The finalists will be determined through the league stage and three playoff matches.
